Booking Information

Interested in Booking an Appointment?

Before placing a deposit, please reach out to me first. This helps ensure I understand your tattoo idea and that I’m the right artist for the project.

How to Get in Touch:

Send an email to nghiachungtattoos@gmail.com and include the following:

A quick intro. Let me know a little about you and how you found my work.

Are you local or traveling? Let me know where you’re coming from.

Your tattoo idea. Describe your concept clearly. Feel free to send reference images to help me get a visual of what you have in mind. I’ll always add my own artistic spin to the design.

Placement photos. Please include a picture of the area where you’d like the tattoo (arm, back, leg, etc.) and let me know if there are any existing tattoos nearby.

Please Note:

I only accept tattoos that align with my style, which is primarily medium to large-scale Asian and Japanese-inspired designs (half sleeves, full sleeves, back pieces, chest, leg sleeves, etc.). I am also interested in doing black and grey style tattoos.

Once we’ve talked and agreed on the direction, you’ll be able to book your appointment through the “Book Online” tab. Please do not book without contacting me first.

Pricing:

I charge by the hour. Please send me an email for the current hourly rate.

Deposits:

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and can be paid through the “Book Online” tab. This deposit goes toward the final cost of your session.

I’m currently booking up to 3 months in advance, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Reschedules & Cancellations:

• You can reschedule up to 72 hours before your appointment without losing your deposit. Just log into your account to make changes.

• If you cancel within less than 72 hours, your deposit is forfeited and a new one will be required to rebook. Please give me a heads-up even if it’s last-minute.

• No call / no shows may result in being unable to book with me again.

No Shows & Late Arrivals:

If you’re more than 15 minutes late and I haven’t heard from you, it will be treated as a no-show.

If you know you’re running behind due to traffic or something else, just let me know. I reserve the right to cancel if the delay is significant.

Design Process:

I’ll share the design on the day of your appointment. Please be sure you’re comfortable with my style and creative process before booking. I work with a mix of stencils and freehand to ensure the design flows naturally with your body. If you are uncomfortable with my design process, I may not be the right artist for you.

How to Prepare for Your Session:

• No alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment (it can cause excess bleeding).

• Get a good night’s sleep and eat before you come in.

• Bring snacks and water—tattoo sessions can be long.

• Wear something comfortable (and not brand new)—tattoos can get messy.

Studio Location:

I work at Black Rose Tattoo which is located in Anaheim, California. The exact address will be emailed to you once your deposit is received.

Tattoo Aftercare Guide

Here are my recommended steps to help your new tattoo heal properly and look its best:

Right After Your Appointment:

At the end of your session, your tattoo will be wrapped in plastic wrap. Remove the wrap after about an hour, or as soon as you get home.

Before touching your tattoo, always wash your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap to avoid infection.

Cleaning Your Tattoo (Days 1–3):

• Gently wash your tattoo with warm water and fragrance-free antibacterial soap.

• Pat it dry with a clean towel—don’t rub.

• Do not re-wrap your tattoo with plastic wrap.

• Clean your tattoo 2–3 times a day for the first three days.

Moisturizing (Days 1–3):

After each wash, apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor to keep the area moisturized. Less is more—using too much can clog your pores and slow down healing. Apply Aquaphor 2–3 times a day during these first few days.

Additional Tips:

• Wear loose, breathable clothing to avoid rubbing or irritation.

• Avoid letting your tattoo touch dirty or unsanitary surfaces.

• Keep your tattoo away from pets—no licking or scratching!

From Day 4 Onward:

By day four, your tattoo will begin to scab. At this point, you can stop using Aquaphor and switch to a fragrance-free lotion like Aveeno or Lubriderm. Apply lotion 3–4 times a day to keep your skin hydrated.

When showering, let water gently run over the tattoo but avoid scrubbing it. Let the scabs fall off naturally—don’t pick or scratch, even if it gets itchy (which it will!). This is a normal part of healing.

Healing usually takes around 2 weeks, but everyone heals differently.

During the Healing Process - Avoid:

• Swimming or soaking (pools, oceans, lakes, jacuzzis, saunas, etc.)

• Direct sun exposure

• Pet contact (no licking, scratching, or climbing!)

• Heavy workouts or excessive sweating

• Touching your tattoo with dirty hands or exposing it to unclean surfaces

If you ever have questions or concerns during the healing process, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to help!
